Ex-smokers will cost Social Security billions

WASHINGTON (UPI) While quitting smoking adds years toAmericans' lives, kicking the habit will cost the Social Securitysystem billions of dollars in benefits paid to those who live longer,smoke-free lives, a study indicates.
