Lincoln-Way, ranked No. 17 among Chicago area baseball teams, hadits 13-game winning streak snapped by Rich South 9-4 Saturday inRichton Park.
Craig Cappel batted in four runs with a three-run homer andsacrifice fly and Andy Olezak had a two-run homer as Rich South(13-8) scored five in the fourth inning. Dave Bernhard and ScottShuster homered for Lincoln-Way (16-4).
Schurz 10, Roosevelt 0: No. 8 Schurz (15-2) romped as VictorBarajas allowed one hit in five innings, Mauricio Martinez had twohits and two RBI and Jose Molina had a single, two-run homer andthree RBI. The Bulldogs will meet No. 23 Taft tomorrow for firstplace in the Public League Northwest.
